Tips for Bambu Lab printers

  • Use Bambu Lab filament for automatic profile detection
  • The AMS works best with non-flexible, non-silk filaments
  • Enable the enclosure for ABS and ASA prints
  • Use the textured PEI plate for PETG with a thin glue-stick layer as a release agent; PETG bonds very strongly to smooth or bare PEI
  • High-speed PLA works exceptionally well on these printers
  • Carbon-fiber and glass-fiber filaments are abrasive and need a hardened steel nozzle. The X1 Carbon ships one; the A1, A1 Mini, and P1S do not, so fit a hardened nozzle before printing composites on those models
